For Yvonne and David
If you hitch a ride through time
You’ll arrive at a place where you started once before
And find forever waiting for you to appear
Someone you loved who died
She waits where time flows into the future
At a place where once she sat high on the Downs
You will sense her in the air in the breeze from the sea
Or from afar where you started once before
Standing in the future looking into the pall
You’ll remember so will she who now can see all
