             A man a woman once      


            Venus overhead
             traversing Mumbai’s Marine Drive
            Thames Embankment

       arm-in-arm
             crossing pools of lamp light
                     electricity connects them
         
            vanishing from sight
            two people he and she
            transiting two planets
